Plymouth Ramblers

Our walks are publicised on our Walks Programme on the Plymouth Ramblers Website. Always check the website for the latest walk information before embarking on a walk. Very occasionally, we do have to cancel walks, and if this is the case, we will mark the walk as cancelled on the Walks Programme.

For every walk we give details of the starting time and place, mileage, grading, a brief description of the walk and the leader's contact number. If you need more specific information about any aspect of the walk, please contact the leader directly.

The walks programme is put together by the Walks Secretary from information provided by the walk leaders. Anyone who wishes to lead a walk can submit details of their proposed walk, either by entering them online in the Walks Manager, or by sending the information to the relevant Walks coordinator or the Walks secretary. (If you have not led a walk before, you will need to contact the Walks secretary in order to be registered as a walk leader.)

We usually have a short and a long walk on Sundays, a short and/or a long walk on Wednesdays, and occasional short walks on Saturdays and Thursday evenings in summer. Walks may also be arranged on other days of the week, for example to coincide with a special event. Our walks range from 3 miles to 16 miles or more, and from easy ambles to challenging yomps. For more information, see Walk grades.
