Our walks are graded according to difficulty. This is determined by the walk leader, taking into account not only length, but also terrain, pace, and ascent. An 8 mile walk on good paths over flat terrain may be graded leisurely, whereas a shorter 6 mile walk with some steep climbs and rough ground might be graded as moderate. If you're not sure whether a walk is suitable for you, check in advance with the leader.
