Hi all

We have in recent months had a number of new members join the Plymouth Group so it seems opportune to just give an update of the changes to the committee that have taken place since our last AGM.

Sue and Steve Whitney, who held the positions of Chair and Webmaster, respectively left to move North to be closer to family. As well as our grateful thanks we wish them the very best as they settle into their new home. Following the AGM we were fortunate that two very willing volunteers came forward to fill their vacancies. Many of you will know Janet Gordon, our new Chair, and Lisa Hughes, Webmaster.

It’s a huge thank you to Jane Kiely, our Rights of Way Officer and Frances Horder, our Social Secretary who both stepped down at the last AGM after a number of years of supporting our Plymouth group so brilliantly. Jenny Goss has stepped forward to now become our Rights of Way Officer and Sue Dyson who only moved to our area last year has very ably taken up the mantle of Social Secretary.

Tony Hoskin, our ‘Wednesday long Walk Coordinator’ is a welcome addition to the Committee as an ‘Additional Member’.

Our final change is regarding our Scrutineer; with John Skinner retiring from the position Frances Teague has very kindly taken on this role. Our appreciation John for undertaking this role for a number of years.
